Who operates this service
Film Assist, LLC is the current legal operator and seller for direct Your Baby's a Genius products. Your Baby's a Genius is the customer-facing brand. Indigetech World Wide, LLC is a planned future company and is not the present operator, payment recipient, or data controller. If operations transfer to a new legal entity, this policy and customer-facing business information will be updated before the change takes effect.
- Policy questions and privacy requests may be started through the Support page.
- Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers, government identification, medical records, or a child's personal information through support.
Information we collect
The categories below reflect the current system. The exact information depends on whether you browse public pages, create an adult account, make a direct purchase, open protected materials, or request help.
- Account information, such as an adult user's username, email address, password hash, email-verification and recovery status, role, account status, and sign-in timestamps.
- Commerce records for direct products, including the account, product, amount, currency, order and payment-provider identifiers, payment status, refunds, and access or download entitlements. We do not intend to store complete payment-card numbers.
- Member and product activity needed to provide protected downloads, EBooks, videos, games, learning access, and account security.
- Messages and information an adult chooses to provide when requesting support, reporting a problem, or asking for a correction.
- Technical and security information created through ordinary website operation, such as session cookies, request records, timestamps, error records, and security events. Hosting infrastructure may process IP address, browser, and device information.
- For published Amazon recommendations, our Products system records only the selected recommendation and click time for aggregate outbound-click reporting; it does not attach an internal account ID, IP address, or user-agent to that click record.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, verify adult accounts, complete direct purchases, deliver protected materials, maintain entitlements, respond to support, prevent abuse, keep required business records, and improve reliability. We do not currently sell personal information or use the system for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Process and reconcile Stripe-hosted direct purchases, refunds, and payment events.
- Provide purchased or granted access without exposing protected files publicly.
- Send operational messages such as verification, password recovery, purchase, access, or support notices.
- Investigate security events, enforce account and product rules, and meet legal obligations.
- Measure Amazon recommendation interest using privacy-light aggregate click records.
Payments, Amazon links, and service providers
Direct Your Baby's a Genius products are planned to use Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe receives payment and transaction information under Stripe's own privacy terms, while our system receives the identifiers and status needed to reconcile the order and provide access. Amazon recommendations are external affiliate links. When an adult chooses one, the visitor leaves our service and Amazon may collect information under Amazon's own terms and privacy notice.
- Stripe and financial partners for direct checkout, fraud prevention, payment processing, refunds, and payout operations.
- Amazon for external product pages, checkout, fulfillment, returns, customer service, and affiliate attribution.
- Hosting, email, storage, security, and support providers used only as needed to operate the service.
- Authorities, advisers, or transaction participants when reasonably necessary for law, safety, claims, fraud prevention, or a properly disclosed business transfer.
Children's privacy and adult accounts
The materials concern children, but website accounts, checkout, support, and product management are intended for parents, caregivers, educators, and other adults. A child should not create an account or submit personal information. Adults should not place a child's name, birth date, school, location, diagnosis, photograph, contact information, or personal story in usernames, profiles, support messages, or other fields unless a reviewed feature expressly requests it and provides the required notice and consent process.
- If we learn that a child provided personal information through an adult-account feature, a parent or guardian should contact us through Support so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
- No current policy text should be understood as authorization to collect personal information directly from a child.
- Any future child-directed profile, progress, communication, advertising, or personalization feature requires a separate children's-privacy review before release.
Cookies and security
The current service uses essential session and security technologies for sign-in, request protection, preferences, and reliable operation. A future analytics, advertising, embedded-media, or personalization tool must be inventoried and reflected here before it is enabled. We use access controls, password hashing, protected storage, integrity checks, and security records appropriate to the service, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Retention and your choices
We keep information only while it is reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including active accounts, purchased access, support, security, dispute handling, accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Order and payment records may be retained longer than ordinary account activity when required for financial or legal records. Exact operational retention schedules and deletion workflows remain a launch-review item.
- An adult account holder may request access, correction, account closure, or deletion review through Support.
- Some information may be retained when required to preserve a transaction, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, protect legal rights, or comply with law.
- Applicable privacy rights vary by location. We will verify a request and respond as required for supported regions.
Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service, providers, legal operator, or law changes. Material changes should receive a new effective date and, when appropriate, an account notice. Until a dedicated privacy email and mailing address are approved, use the Support page to begin a privacy request.
